Currently based in New York
City, Lucas was raised in Cincinnati and spent formative years in
the northwestern United States as well
as various overseas locales from northern Japan to Kathmandu, Perth
to Tangiers. He has helmed the camera for short and
feature films, music videos, commericials, documentaries, and experimental
works.
He also
teaches filmmaking to teens and works as an camera assistant and
operator. Lucas received his MFA in film production from the University
of Texas in film production in 2007.
